Donor & Venue Protection Policies
At Tix For Teachers, our mission is to recognize and celebrate educators by connecting them with donated tickets and experiences from generous venues, teams, artists, theaters, organizations, and community partners.
To protect the integrity of this program and ensure a positive experience for all parties involved, all members, donors, and partners are expected to follow the policies below.
1. Ticket Usage & Anti-Resale Policy
Tickets and experiences distributed through Tix For Teachers are intended solely for personal use by verified educator members and their invited guests.
Members may not:
- sell tickets
- auction tickets
- barter tickets
- exchange tickets for goods or services
- transfer tickets for financial gain
- or advertise donated tickets on resale platforms or social media marketplaces
Any member found engaging in ticket misuse or resale activity may have their membership immediately suspended or permanently terminated.
Tix For Teachers reserves the right to investigate suspected misuse and cooperate with venues, promoters, and ticketing partners when necessary to protect donated inventory.
For auditing and fraud prevention purposes, ticket location details, redemption activity, and distribution records may be maintained by Tix For Teachers.
We encourage donors and partners to report suspected violations directly to our support team.

2. Respect for Donors, Venues & Event Partners
To provide a seamless and professional experience for our partners, educator members may not directly contact venues, sports teams, theaters, promoters, artists, ticket offices, sponsors, or donor organizations regarding tickets received through Tix For Teachers unless specifically instructed to do so.
All ticket support requests, fulfillment questions, seating concerns, and distribution issues must be handled through the Tix For Teachers support system.
This policy helps:
- protect donor relationships
- reduce administrative burden on partners
- maintain consistency in communications
- and ensure efficient issue resolution
Members who circumvent these procedures may lose access to future ticket opportunities.
Partners are encouraged to notify Tix For Teachers of any unauthorized member contact.
3. Ticket Pickup & Identification Policies
Certain events may require will-call pickup or identity verification.
When applicable:
- the name submitted for ticket pickup will generally match the verified educator account holder
- valid government-issued identification may be required
- and venues may enforce their own admission or pickup procedures
Tix For Teachers cannot guarantee ticket replacement, venue exceptions, or admission when venue policies are not followed.
Requests for name changes, ticket transfers, or alternate pickup arrangements are generally not permitted unless expressly authorized by the event provider.
4. Guest & Family Attendance
Educators may attend events with family members, spouses, partners, or guests consistent with the ticket allocation provided for the event.
When a spouse or authorized guest is permitted to pick up tickets on behalf of the educator member, venues may require:
- matching identification
- confirmation information
- or other proof authorized by the venue
Event-specific rules always take precedence.
5. Member Conduct Expectations
All Tix For Teachers members are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully when participating in events obtained through the platform.
Members may not:
- engage in disruptive or unlawful behavior
- misuse donor privileges
- misrepresent affiliation with Tix For Teachers
- or violate venue policies or event rules
Failure to follow conduct standards may result in suspension or permanent removal from the platform.
6. Verification & Platform Integrity
Tix For Teachers reserves the right to verify educator eligibility, employment status, and account information at any time.
Fraudulent applications, false credentials, duplicate accounts, or attempts to manipulate ticket opportunities may result in account termination.
To maintain program integrity, members may periodically be required to review and reaffirm acceptance of platform Terms & Conditions and participation policies.
7. Donor & Partner Rights
Donors, venues, and event partners maintain the right to:
- limit ticket quantities
- restrict seating locations
- establish event-specific requirements
- revoke ticket access for policy violations
- and determine final admission eligibility
Tix For Teachers serves as a distribution platform and cannot guarantee:
- seating preferences
- event access
- event availability
- or replacement tickets for canceled, revoked, or modified events
8. Commitment to Educators & Community
Tix For Teachers exists to celebrate educators and strengthen community appreciation for teachers through memorable shared experiences.
We are grateful to our donors, sponsors, venues, and partners whose generosity makes these opportunities possible. By participating in the platform, members help preserve the integrity, sustainability, and long-term success of the program for educators nationwide.
